This Week at St. Paul's - December 1st - 7th, 2024

Hello St Paul’s Family,

• Saint Paul’s lost a beloved member. Our hearts and prayers are with the family of Sharkey. There will be a service here after the New year.

 

• Thank you to Barbara and Eunice for transforming the Sanctuary for Advent.

 

• Happy Thanksgiving to all! There will be a free Thanksgiving dinner at the Vet’s Hall from 11:30-3:00.

 

• Brynn will be decorating on Saturday the 30th for her Christmas concerts. She would love help. Time is yet to be decided.

 

• This Sunday is the First Sunday in Advent in the Year C.  The Advent Prayer Tree will go up this week. Please feel free to add your Prayers.

The Bulletin and December Calendar are attached. The Office will be closed Wednesday November 27.

• ** There will be a 3:00 Christmas Eve service followed by a Potluck. (In person and Zoom.) There will be a signup form in Parish Hall soon.
• Kate’s Winter Piano showcase is scheduled for Sunday December 8 at 4:00.

Christmas Cards

• Hand painted original Watercolor Christmas cards are available in the Parish Hall. They are handmade cards, featuring the Pines of Cambria, painted by a local Cambria Artist. (Kristin the Parish Administrator).  They are in a red binder. Take one from the sleeve and leave a donation, if you can. 100% of your Donation goes to St. Paul’s.  I hope they bring some Cheer.

• Book study Continues:  on Zoom Wednesdays at 10:00 A.M led by Canon Mark Hall.  "Jesus' Alternative Plan-The Sermon on the Mount" by Richard Rohr.  Anyone is welcome to join. We discuss one chapter a week. Feel free to join us anytime!
• Safe Harbor Presbyterian is hosting their annual (very casual) Carol Singalong on Sunday Dec 22 at 3:00 in the Parish Hall. They would love to invite the Saint Paul’s Family for some merriment and cookies.

• Friday December 13th at 7:30
• Saturday December 14th at 4:30 and at 7:30
• Sunday December 15th at 4:30.
