Angela Lansbury in "Driving Miss Daisy"

Friday, July 17 at 9 pm (PBS)- Angela Lansbury in Driving Miss Daisy: Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer Prize winning play, Driving Miss Daisy, comes to television on July 1 ih. This particular stage production was filmed in Australia at the Comedy Theatre of Melbourne, and stars Angela
Lansbury and James Earl Jones. It will be broadcast on PBS (Check local listings.) "The play is a timeless, searing funny, and ultimately hopeful meditation on race relations in America, told through the complex relationship between two of pop culture's most enduring characters." (pbs.org) As some of you know, Ms. Lansbury will be our honored guest at a fundraising event  in October where she will be interviewed and may even treat the audience to some movie clips
from her long and notable career! (More info on that fundraiser including the venue and cost per
