Happy Thanksgiving to all. Here are your updates.
Today the office will close at 2:30 pm. The office and Senior Nutrition will be closed Thursday, November 24.
Sunday, November 27th- First Sunday of Advent. We will switch to Eucharistic Prayer B. Thank you to those who have signed up to be Advent wreath readers. A few last openings still exist. The sign-up sheet is in the parish hall. AFTER signing up to read, please feel free to take your reading text from the appropriate file folder in the church entry. This Sunday is also the last chance to submit your donations of food or funds for the monthly food program that serves the needy in our community. Thank you for sharing your blessings!
Sunday lights out- Please remember to turn lights out and lock the doors if you are the last one exiting our facilities after services on Sunday. Thanks a bunch!
Clueless…Mysterious disappearance- The stand to our small, portable keyboard that was being stored in the church library’s storage area has gone missing. If you have borrowed it recently, please let me know ASAP.
Stay tuned-Wreath Making, Blue Christmas, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day luncheon information will be published next week. Info will also be available on our website: www.stpaulscambria.org
December 4- Annual Brunch after the 9:30 am service, with a special presentation: A Pilgrim’s Journey; by Bud Hankins. Those who haven’t already returned their pledge cards, please do so before the service. Thank you! This is also the cookie outreach deadline for referrals.
“Bin” there, done that! It would be nice to have a couple more volunteers to occasionally move the waste bins up to the street, and return them back to the lower area before and after Monday pick-up, on a rotational basis. If you can help out, that would be “FANTRASHTIC”. Thanks!
A few more volunteers are also needed for our Christmas Eve service. Contact the office if you can serve as an acolyte, torchbearer or usher. Thank you to those who replied last week. You will be contacted shortly.
Enjoy your turkey day!
