Dear Church Family,
I hope all is well in your area of town. The rain has certainly done some damage recently! Still, I am glad to have it.
Here are your updates for January 13, 2017:
Annual Meeting Agenda is attached. Please review it and plan to attend the meeting and brunch. Thanks!
Offering envelopes are now available to those who have traditionally had them assigned to them in the past. They are currently available in the ushers’ cart; simply find the box with your name on it.
If you are someone who submits your offering on a weekly, rather than monthly basis, and would like to use envelopes to help track your contributions, there are some extra sets available. Simply drop by the office and we will issue a set to you. Please note: This may possibly be the last year we purchase them, FYI, in an effort to bring down supply costs wherever we can.
Contribution statements for 2016 are now available from the ushers’ cart.
Sunday, January 15: Two services-8 am and 10:30 am.
Sunday January 22: ONE SERVICE ONLY followed by our Annual Meeting and Brunch.
Corrections to Parish directory: On Sunday January 22, I hope to have last year’s phone directory distributed 1 per table. Please find your name in the directory, and correct any information that may have changed in the past year, including adding/revising your email address, address, etc. I will pick the corrected directories up, make the necessary changes, and have the new 2017 directory available by March 1 if all goes well. If all of your information is correct, please just initial by your listing so I know it was reviewed and OK’d.
A huge “Bravo” to the Men of Arnold’s Breakfast Club and the Bells of St. Paul’s for their performances on Epiphany. The men read “The Story of the Other Wise Man”, and the wonderful bell ringers performed afterward. Many thanks to both groups and to those who helped with the refreshments.
On Thursday, January 19, the office will be open for time-sensitive matters, as I will be focused on finishing up the Annual Report. Thanks for your patience.
