Dear Church Family,
How can it already be Thursday again?! Here are your updates for January 28, 2015:
-A big thank you to everyone who participated in last week’s Annual Meeting. Many thanks to Joni Michel and her team, for organizing the brunch, and to Leonard Kohout for the A.V. presentation on the highlights of 2015. Extra Annual Reports are available in the sanctuary.
-Congratulations to those who will serve on the 2016 Vestry! Doug Wong has been elected Senior Warden and beginning their terms are Sharkey Warrick, Anne Harris Smith and Georgianne Jackson, (who had previously been appointed to fill a vacancy a while back). Rounding out the Vestry are “continuing” members Rosie Behrens, Lou Ann Carter, Joni Michel, Sue Johnson and Ken Martin.
Many thanks to Julian Crocker, retiring Senior Warden, and Bob Cichowski, retiring member, for their service!
-Last Chance Sunday for the Monthly Food Program. Your non-perishables (NO EXPIRED DATES) or monetary donations (memo line on checks: food) are greatly appreciated. Food will be distributed Thursday, February 4th. Thanks.
-Bells of St. Paul’s volunteers: A message from Rebecca Hendricks about meeting this Sunday, and beyond.
“It is getting tricky to find a rehearsal time so I would like to meet this Sunday after everyone has had a chance to enjoy a quick cup of coffee (following the 10:30 a.m. service). I am playing hand bells during the service so we will have bells available for those who want to try them out. Bring your calendars so we can try to find a time that works for setting practices. Do be aware we have members who work, so weekdays during the day may not work. I have ordered notebooks and will get your glove size Sunday - XS, S, M, L XL.
