Dear Church Family,
I hope you had a meaningful Holy Week and Easter. Here are your updates for the week:
Father Brian invites all of you to a weekly discussion of our Sunday assigned readings. Each discussion of the scriptures will occur at 5 pm on Wednesdays, beginning April 15th, in the Parish Hall. Current theme, “Act on Acts”. More info will be provided this Sunday by Father Brian. Check the back page of each Sunday bulletin’s “Next Sunday” calendar info to see what the readings are that will be discussed during the Wednesday sessions.
Calendars for April are being sent with this email. If you cannot open it in either version, additional copies will be available in the sanctuary entry. If you have the ability to print the document at home, please do so; limited copies will be available. **(Special note web version: The calendar is also available for viewing and download at the Monthly Church Calendar Tab".)
A reminder to check your current (April-May) volunteer schedule (received several weeks ago) to see when you are scheduled to serve. Thanks! **(Special note web version: The volunteer schedule is also available for viewing and download at the "Volunteer Schedule Tab").
Saturday April 18 – Private Labyrinth event. Please do not plan any grounds maintenance in the lower area on that day, or access the Library between 11 30 am and 2 pm, as we are hosting a group from Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church here for a private labyrinth event. Because of normally scheduled community groups also holding their weekly meetings on that day, the Library/Chapel area is pretty much unavailable from 9:40 am until 4:20 pm. Only exception: 2:05-2:25pm
Celebration of a New Ministry, April 26 at
4 pm. Please join Bishop Mary, Vestry, Father Brian and others as we celebrate the beginning of Father Brian’s ministry here at St. Paul’s. Though we don’t typically ask for RSVPs from the congregation, RSVPs from our parishioners this time would be very helpful, so we can determine how to set up the sanctuary, and how many bulletins to print, among other things. Please RSVP to email@example.com , or by phoning 927-3239. Please let me know how many people plan to attend as part of your party. Thanks. **Special Web Note: You can also complete the "RSVP Form" at the bottom of the "Installation of the Rev Brian Palmer Tab".
This month’s St. Paul’s Helper is Betty Malone: 909-0124.
HAPPY BIG 9-0, FRAN CONKLIN!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
