Dear Church Family,
Well, I am back from my long weekend, and I must say, it was great. But we have much to do around this little campus, and so, once again, I am sending some important news in the life of the parish.
Search Update-Please find attached the most current update from Senior Warden Julian Crocker regarding the search process. Should you somehow delete the document prior to reading it, please note that it is also posted on the Parish Hall bulletin board for your reading during coffee hour on Sundays. Attention ushers: Please encourage those parishioners without email to pick up a copy of Julian’s letter from the ushers’ cart this Sunday or the following Sunday. Thanks!
Time to clean closets- Attention former Sunday School volunteers, ECW members and labyrinth team: Due to limited storage space, we ask that you come into the Library sometime soon and go through your items, baskets, bags or boxes that are currently being stored in the former men’s restroom storage area, the back storage area or the closet adjacent the existing bathroom in the Library-Chapel, to sort through, consolidate, organize, box up or better yet, remove, anything that you don’t anticipate your group needing in the near future. Pests like silverfish continue to pop up and many of these items are made of paper, fabric or other materials that attract those or other little critters. ( (And many of these items haven’t moved in over 5 years.) Please call if you are unsure of when the library is available. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
M.I.A. orange road cone- Last October, I loaned an orange cone to the Parents’ Night Out team to display a scarecrow. I have never gotten it back, and it is almost time for me to display this year’s scarecrow in front of our house. Lady Gaga can’t stand up without it! So if anyone knows what happened to my orange street cone, please let me know. Thanks so much!
Publicity aid needed- I am in need of someone who can generate a flyer promoting the Irish concert on September 13, then distribute a few copies around town. The flyer should also be able to be sent electronically to the other churches in the area. Time is ticking by quickly. Please call me if you can help. This is a one-time assignment. Thanks.
From the music director- : “Dear St. Paul’s: Thank you so much for allowing me this summer break to spend time with family and friends. It has given me and the children some much needed down time to recharge and gain strength. Much love, Kate, Ethan and Lily.”
NICE TO HAVE YOU BACK, KATE!
Have a nice weekend, everyone!
