An enthusiastic group of planners gathered recently to plan Harmony Hikes through
January 2016.  All of  them will take place on the third Saturday of the month at
12:45pm. Some are close by and a couple will require a bit of driving. The next SLO
Deanery Harmony Hike is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2015 at San Simeon Point.
We will meet in the  parking lot by the pier at 12:45pm and begin  walking promptly at I:00 pm. All ages are welcome. This is an easy walk through Eucalyptus groves and along the bluff overlooking the ocean. We will have a stational Eucharist stopping at several points along the way to begin the service,
listen to scripture, have a short time of silence, and end with Communion at the
point. Dogs on a leash are welcome. If you have any questions please call the Rev.

This particular stage production was filmed in Australia at the Comedy Theatre of Melbourne, and stars Angela
Lansbury and James Earl Jones. It will be broadcast on PBS (Check local listings.) "The play is a timeless, searing funny, and ultimately hopeful meditation on race relations in America, told through the complex relationship between two of pop culture's most enduring characters." (pbs.org) As some of you know, Ms. Lansbury will be our honored guest at a fundraising event  in October where she will be interviewed and may even treat the audience to some movie clips
from her long and notable career! (More info on that fundraiser including the venue and cost per
ticket, in the near future.) Enjoy the show!

 Cambria Chorale’s Spring Concert, featuring many of our parishioners, is coming up. Lou Ann Carter(927-5583) and Betty Pierce (927-8573) both have tickets for sale, for the May 10 concert at 3 pm. Tickets are $16.00 each. Also- there will be a group going to lunch prior to the concert. If you’d like to be included, please call Lou Ann and let her know. She will have more info on where and at what time.


Leonard Kohout will be selling tickets on 
May 3rd as well as tor the May 10th Concert; as will many other members of the Chorale.
