A note from Dan and Sara Field is now posted on the Parish Hall bulletin board.
Our Bible Scholars group meets every Wednesday at 6 pm for a scripture-based discussion and fellowship. We’d love to see you there!
CAN contact info: Please note that we now have a better phone number for the Cambria Anonymous Neighbors program, so please note it in your church directories as 927-5673.
Lorienne Schwenk: New email- firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bells of St. Paul’s- A new hand bell group is forming, and the good news is that no experience is necessary. Contact Rebecca Hendricks for further info or to sign up. Please reply by January 25th so a practice schedule can be formulated: email@example.com or by calling 203-5619. Thanks!
Lent is around the corner! Then Spring and Easter! There is lots planned during the next few months. Please make sure to take the insert home from your bulletin this Sunday and post it someplace handy. It will list all of the activities coming your way soon.
8 am and 10:30 am Volunteer Schedules through March 13 are attached. If you are unable to open them in either of the 2 formats, email the office and we will try a different format. Limited copies are also available in the Parish Hall. As always, please find your own substitutes. (Make sure you’re reading the correct schedule for the service you attend…8 am or 10:30 am.) Hopefully everyone’s reported “unavailable dates” have been factored in to the schedule’s formula. Thanks for your help and patience. If you can serve as a seasonal/extra volunteer during Holy Week for torchbearer, reader, usher, etc, please let me know. ALSO- Welcome back to Jim Fenn as an 8 am usher, and Welcome to Dave Pearson who will soon serve as an usher at 10:30 am. Thanks again to EVERYONE!
Presiding Bishop Curry’s statement on recent news regarding the Anglican Communion:
**Note: Also posted on our Facebook page.
Hello from our former rector, Father Fred: I wanted all of you to know you are always in my prayers. January 17 was my first Sunday at Saint Thomas in Dallas, Oregon as their new Vicar. It was seven years ago January 18 that I started as your Rector at Saint Paul's in Cambria. As this new opportunity in my life approaches, please pray for me. Fred+
Storage space is at a premium! We need to find homes off-campus for the Sunday School materials that haven’t been used in about 8+ years, so attention former Sunday School volunteers: Please let me know whether you will be picking them up soon to store o/ donate somewhere, or whether you would like me to dispose of them.
A special shout-out to Fran Conklin who is in the desert for a couple of months, but trying to stay in touch when possible via Vivian Russo.
Canterbury Club Annual Reports will be available Sunday, on the credenza in the entry of the church.
See you Sunday!
