1)Christmas Eve Offerings for flowers or music must be received by 9 am, December 15.
2) FATHER BRIAN NEEDS YOUR HELP. He is trying to plan the Christmas Day dinner at the church and is unable to order the turkey, or make other important arrangements until he gets firm confirmations/RSVPs from those who may be considering attending. PLEASE RSVP ASAP or at the latest by 9:00 am, December 18th. He also needs to know what dish each party is planning on bringing, to ensure there is enough food for everyone, and to also ensure there is a nice variety of dishes, If you’re wondering what to bring, some dishes that would be helpful are stuffing, sweet potatoes, salad, or any favorite dish…just let us know and we will add it to the menu. The festivities start at 11:00 am with the meal served at noon. Even if you have casually mentioned to Father Brian directly that you might attend, please still RSVP to the office:927-3239 to confirm your attendance so we can order the correct size turkey, etc. Thanks.

Annual Reports! -Committee or Program Chairs, I will need your report by December 28th. Please email your report, with a photo of your group or activities (only if practical) to the office, and to my personal email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject noted as Annual Report. The more specifics you can provide, the more interesting the info will be, so please include number of people served, charities supported, events/worship services supported, or anything else you feel would help readers get a clear picture of your program’s activities/accomplishments during the past year. Once the annual report is formatted for space, I will not be able to reformat to provide for late reports, so please submit your info in a timely manner. Thank you.
Volunteer Schedules were mailed last week. Many thanks to Carol Schutz for developing the 10:30 am schedule. Please check the Parish Hall for a paper copy if you had trouble opening either document.
Many thanks also to Joni Michel for all of her time and talent coordinating this year’s Stewardship Campaign, Pie Social and Annual Brunch. Your efforts are truly appreciated.
A Prayer for Peace- St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Wishing you all a peaceful Advent in the midst of a busy holiday season,
St. Paul's Episcopal Church
