I hope the start of your Advent has been truly a special time. Here are your updates for this week:
Volunteer schedules are attached in PDF format. If you have trouble opening either of them, please check the hall board on Sunday, then email me and I will resend the docs to you in another format. Thanks for serving!
Stewardship Brunch and the conclusion of the Pledge Drive are set for this Sunday, Dec 6th. Please bring your pledges to church (if you haven’t already done so) if you are planning to pledge. Thank you.
Cookie Outreach drivers are still needed! Contact Lou Ann ASAP if you can serve.
Our Blue Christmas Service is set for Monday, Dec 21st at 7 pm. This is a beautiful way to help cope with grief during the holiday season and there is special liturgy for the service that I think all who attend will find quite meaningful, and comforting. Please join us.
Christmas Eve service begins with a hymn sing at 6:40 pm followed by the 7 pm service.
Christmas Dinner with your church family, hosted by Father Brian, is scheduled for Christmas Day. The festivities will include a Christmas themed movie at 11 am, followed by the meal at 12 noon, and concluding with carols and games. The turkey will be provided; please bring a dish to share. Please RSVP to Michelle with number of people and what dish you will be bringing, by December 18th.
Cambria Chorale 2015 Christmas Concert debuts this Sunday, Dec 6 at 2 pm. Adult tickets are $16. Each; students are free. Many of our church members will be performing as part of the Chorale, so plan to attend to enjoy their talents and show your support. A second show is set for December 20 at 2 pm. Tickets at Chamber of Commerce, Joslyn Center and at the door.
Tuesday guests- A reminder that we now have another church worshipping on our campus on Tuesdays in the Parish Hall, so access to the Hall is restricted between 4 pm and 9 pm.
Enjoy your weekend,
