Here are your important updates for Thursday, October 29, 2015:
Our Deepest Sympathy and Love go out to Frank and Carol Schutz and their extended family on the loss of their daughter-in-law Mary Monroe as well as the loss of their grandson Jarrett Hill, both last week. Mary is the wife of the Schutz’s son Brian (and mother of Andrew) and Jarrett is the son of their daughter, Laurie. Please keep Mary, Jarrett and their families in your prayers. We love you Frank and Carol!
Change Your Clocks Back: Adjust your clocks back 1 hour before retiring for the night on Saturday night, October 31, otherwise you will be an hour early for church on Sunday, November 1.
November 1 All Saints Day: Our service begins at 9:30 am, followed by Birthday Cake. Please also note that it is Last Chance Sunday for food donations that will be distributed on Thursday, November 5th. Usher: Please remember that we toll the bell after each name read. Thanks.
Time and Volunteer Changes for November 15th: Our stewardship season begins on November 15th, so we will hold one service, at 9:30 am, then enjoy our annual Pie Social. Because we are going to one service on that day, I have condensed the volunteer schedule and so here are the revised assignments for that day:
Acolyte: Stevely Anderson, Reader: Joan Wilson, Healing Prayers: Van Jahnes-Smith, and Ushers: Julian Crocker and Bill Baker.
Convention: Father Brian, Julian Crocker and Anne Harris Smith will be attending the Diocesan Convention next weekend. Thanks to all three of you for giving your time to this event and important process.
Facility use reminder: Those planning meetings/activities on campus, please remember to check with the office to make sure the area in which you wish to meet is available on your desired date/time. Thanks.
Have a BOO-tiful weekend!
