I hope you are enjoying the cooler temperatures this week. It really is beginning to feel like fall.
Here are your updates for this week:
Garden Party: Sunday Sept 20th, 3-4:30 PM. Father Brian would like to thank all of those who have watered, weeded or lovingly tended to our grounds (past or present) by hosting this wonderful tea in the garden. Iced tea and sandwiches will be provided. Please RSVP to Father Brian ASAP if planning to attend: 310-913-0386.
Men’s Retreat and Labyrinth- Saturday, Sept. 26th, 9:30 am to 2 pm, facilitated by The Rev. Donna and Rob Ross, and Father Brian. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served, so please phone in your RSVP to the office by 9 am Thursday, September 24.
Note cards and greeting cards- It seems like this time of year, many charities send their past/present donors unused greeting cards. We would love to take those that you don’t need, off your hands for a new ministry that has been established. Any extra birthday cards, get well cards, sympathy cards, friendship cards, or thinking of you cards that you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Blank note cards will also come in handy. So please feel free to drop them off in the office until I have time to get a basket up to the parish hall. Thanks!
67 tickets for our Angela Lansbury fundraiser were sold through the office during our recent purchasing window. Thanks to all who supported this effort. Our unsold tickets are in the process of now being turned back in to our ticket vendor to be sold at full price. Online sales have been going well. The excitement is building…
Vestry Meeting: Monday at 1 pm. Vestry members, please make sure to email me (at the office) any additions to the agenda by Saturday morning, 9 am.
Office schedule: In the coming weeks there may be times when I need to trade days to tend to some issues relating to my mom’s hospitalization, so your patience is appreciated if you find that I am not here on a scheduled day. I will try to publish those dates in advance whenever possible.
Have a great weekend!
