Here are your updates for the week of September 6-12 and beyond:
-Passing of Ann Hardin- Ann passed away on August 26th. Though it was announced in church, we wanted to make sure everyone got the information. She served as the first CARES director and was active here at St. Paul’s before moving to the bay area, and eventually to Oklahoma City. Condolences to the family can be sent to 1612 West Wilshire Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73116

-Sensitive matters: Anyone having a more sensitive or lengthy issue to discuss and who wishes a bit more privacy, has the option of scheduling their appointment at a time after 3:00 pm when our office is closed to walk-ins. Please keep in mind however, that appointment options are not limited to the above hours.
-100th Birthday- Request for cards- Barbara Dallmann’s aunt Hilda is turning 100 years young on September 17th. The Dallmanns thought it might be nice if parishioners here could send some cards her way, given this major milestone in Hilda’s life. Hilda is still active in her local church where the Dallmanns tied the knot years ago, and is still active in the quilting group there. Here is the info in case you have the time to drop Auntie Hilda a card:

-Men’s Labyrinth Retreat is rapidly approaching. Sacred Journeys: A Men's Retreat, is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 9:30am – 1:30pm; Led by Donna and Rob Ross, w/Fr. Brian Palmer Lunch is provided.
Description: Join Donna and Rob Ross as they remember walking through the holy city of Jerusalem – and share your own experiences of pilgrimage in discussions led by Fr. Brian Palmer, who has made the same journey. There will also be opportunities to make shorter pilgrimages by walking St. Paul's Labyrinth or the Stations of the Cross in the garden.
Bruce Feiler, the author of "Walking the Bible", explores the universal human practice of going on pilgrimage in his new video, Sacred Journeys. After watching “Jerusalem” (a brief segment from the video) we will examine the questions Feiler raises: Why do we go on pilgrimage? What do we hope to find? How will the journey change us?
To make your lunch reservation, call St. Paul’s office (927-3239) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Thursday, September 24, 9 am.
