Dear Church Family,
I hope this finds you all doing well. Here are your updates for July 16, 2015:
Friday, July 17 at 9 pm (PBS)- Angela Lansbury in Driving Miss Daisy: Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer Prize winning play, Driving Miss Daisy, comes to television on July 17th . This particular stage production was filmed in Australia at the Comedy Theatre of Melbourne, and stars Angela Lansbury and James Earl Jones. It will be broadcast on PBS (Check local listings.) "The play is a timeless, searing funny, and ultimately hopeful meditation on race relations in America, told
through the complex relationship between two of pop culture's most enduring characters." (pbs.org) As some of you know, Ms. Lansbury will be our honored guest at a fundraising event in October where she will be interviewed and may even treat the audience to some movie clips from her long and notable career! (More info on that fundraiser including the venue and cost per ticket, in the near future.) Enjoy the show!

Please check the schedule if you know you committed to watering, but don't remember when
your week is. You can also call the office to find out.
Scare crew: Both spots on the Scare Crew are now filled. Many thanks to Ann Glaser and Anne Harris Smith for volunteering. I can't wait to see what Ann and Anne come up with!
Departed: This week the Robbins family of Cambria lost two of their members in a tragic accident on Hwy 46. Please pray for the departed: Michael (11) and Patience (age 20) and their grieving mother and siblings. Friends of the family have set up a fund at Heritage Oaks Bank.
