Dear Church Family,
The weekly announcements are a little earlier this week, as the office is closed Thursday. Here is your important news in the life of the church.
Richard Smith: On Monday evening Richard Smith passed away with Anne and children Eric and Lisa by his side. Anne is currently out of town but will return soon. When we know more, we will share the info. Please keep Richard in your prayers, as well as Anne and their family.
Week of May 17th: Fumigation Monday through Wednesday, so campus is closed. Bible study on Wed. May 20th will move to Father Brian’s during the fumigation: 2430 So. Windsor, Cambria. (If that plan changes, he will update everyone on Sunday, if need be.) Messages will be checked remotely. Remember that in a pastoral emergency you can always call Fr. Brian at 310.913.0386.
Sunday May 24: Pentecost Sunday. Wearing red is encouraged in observance of this special day in the life of the Church.
Ushers and Acolytes urgently needed! We are down several volunteers because of illness or travel plans. If you can help, even for just a few weeks with either task, please call or email the office. ( By any chance, are any choir members who are off for the summer interested in becoming seasonal ushers?)
