Thank you to everyone who made Father Brian’s Celebration of a New Ministry so special. It was beautiful from beginning to end.
Here are this week’s announcements:
Office closure: The Parish Administrator’s office will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, April 30th, due to an urgent family matter. I will return Friday evening.
May 3: Jeanne Gerhardt’s service is scheduled for 9:30 AM this Sunday, May 3rd. Jeanne, in her love for her St. Paul’s Church family, graciously identified St. Paul’s as the recipient of any memorial gifts from those wishing to honor her. And I know we will honor her as well by providing a beautiful service for a beautiful servant of Christ. This is also the last Sunday to make an offering toward feeding the hungry in our community before the monthly distribution day. Jeanne had a tradition with Karen, her daughter. They would go shopping for the Food Program on a regular basis. Following her example is another wonderful way to honor Jeanne!
Important websites: www.stpaulscambria.org and www.lectionarypage.net The two sites will provide current information on all church events, news on parishioners, and other important topics. Both will also provide you with the scriptures that we will be studying each Wednesday at our 6 PM Bible study in the Chapel/Library.
